Took a break from blogging and writing murder mysteries to take a cruise from Montreal to Bermuda with various stops along the way. In Bermuda, we got to see the the U.S.’s entry into the America’s Cup race – the Oracle – practicing on the course near Hamilton. These high-tech boats are incredibly fast as the wind raises them out of the water onto their hydrofoils. They can reach speeds of more than 50 knots and turn on a dime! They truly are the Ferraris of the sea and an incredible pleasure to watch! It was also fun to see how the other half lives with yachts worth millions of dollars arriving to watch the race! Back to blogging about mysteries and writing next week!
